Intro

FILM IS TRUTH is back!  We are so excited to bring this DVD + Blu-ray rental collection back to the Bellingham film-loving community, but you should know that things will be a little different than you may be used to. Because we don’t have the physical space to showcase the collection like a typical movie rental store, we will be processing rentals differently too.

In the beginning same day rentals will not be available at this time.  Much of how this will look going forward depends on demand and we thank you for your patience as we navigate new systems!

Have a question -- we might have an answer! Send an email to filmistruth@pickfordfilmcenter.org

Library

FILM IS TRUTH LIBRARY

One of the biggest challenges that we faced when figuring out how to have a video store without a physical space was how to present the collection to the public. The complete library is HERE in a searchable, alphabetic list which provides the film/TV title, rating and format of disc.  There is a printed copy of the full list  in the PFC lobby to leaf through.

We are also working on a digital library which is still under construction -- SORRY TO SAY THAT THIS FUNCTION IS EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES AND IS NOT BE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME and exists below as a work in progress.  This format also presents its challenges -- it is simply too large to load a scrollable library, but it is searchable via title, genre and actor!

Finally, the herculean effort to digitize the list of 22K+ entries has inevitably resulted in errors, especially for our more obscure titles or any movie that shares a title.  You may find that you request a rental which is showing as one film on the website and another in reality when you receive your disc.  We are sorry for that!  If this happens, let us know and we get you a free rental.
